Hard work
The Bible tells us to “work heartily” for the Lord, as in all labor there is profit but mere talk leads only to poverty. (Proverbs 14:23)
Just as sloth is a deadly sin, living a lazy life will cause suffering and anxiety. It is healthy for the body and mind to work hard, serving God and others with our gifts from the Lord.
Colossians 3:23
23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,

4 A sluggard’s appetite is never filled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied.
