Depression
God wants us to be happy and feel good, not sad or down all the time. He knows that everyone can feel sad sometimes, but He doesn’t want us to stay feeling that way. God wants us to know that we can always turn to Him when we’re feeling down or overwhelmed. He loves us so much and wants to help us through the tough times so that we can feel joy and peace in our hearts.
In the Bible, Jesus tells us how He can help us when we’re feeling sad or tired. In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus says, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light” (NLT). This means that Jesus wants to help carry our worries and burdens. He promises to make things easier and to give us comfort when we’re struggling.
So, whenever you feel sad or overwhelmed, remember that God is there to help you feel better. You can pray and ask Jesus for comfort, and He will be there to give you rest and peace. God doesn’t want you to be stuck in sadness; He wants you to be happy and find joy, knowing that He is always there to support and lift you up.
